Mulholland Rock Store T-Shirt

Rock Store, The Snake, The Overlook - So many names for this section of Mulholland Highway! Stretching roughly 2.5 miles with about 900ft of elevation gain, this serpentine section of Mulholland is probably the most famous amongst cyclists, drivers and motorcyclists. 

The cambered tight turns sweep under Oak trees and offer some inspiring views of the road and valley you just ascended.

Near the bottom, there is an old diner/rest stop called "The Rock Store", which has been around for eons. Near the top, a scenic overlook is carved out of the road, providing a great place for a stop, stretch them legs, and enjoy the, well, scenery! 

Although this section of the road has been closed since the 2018 Woolsey Fire to cars and motos, it remains open to cyclists and hikers. So a nice private road on bicycle, don't mind if I do!
